Finca Son Xuric

This old Mallorcan-style house, with capacity for 8 people, has been renovated in 2019. Its walls are thick, made of natural stone, which guarantees a pleasant temperature for most of the year.

Upon arrival we can leave the car safely in any of the two garages available. The garden is large, with a beautiful round-shaped pool in the center and all surrounded by large trees that refresh the atmosphere in summer with their shade and guarantee total privacy.

There are different varieties of trees nearby: orange, persimmon, pomegranate (or pomegranate tree), and almond trees.

We find several sun loungers with their pool cushions and towels at our disposal, and two tables with garden chairs that we can take advantage of if we want to use the barbecue.

Inside, we find a nice furniture: the table with their respective dining room chairs, sofas, flat screen TV, and also an original central arch that welcomes us. The distribution is typical of the old Mallorcan houses, with two bedrooms in the front and a bathroom and the kitchen in the back.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: independent gas cooker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, utensils, oven, toaster, water heater, juicer, etc.

In the large pantry we will also find the washing machine, the iron and several other utensils.

It has 4 bedrooms, 2 of them with double beds and another 2 with two single beds all well furnished and with AACC cold / heat. There are also 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower and bathtub. Both the bedding in the bedrooms and the towels in the bathrooms are available to our customers.

The common areas are wide, especially those in the upper part, where we see a small sample of objects and tools that evoke us in the past. The old with the modern has come together achieving a perfect balance.

There is also a small terrace from where you have a privileged view towards the mountain of Sant Salvador (in Felanitx) and all the fields that surround the house. Also nearby is the small church in the neighborhood (Son Valls).

This is an area that is still agricultural, depending on the season we can see fields planted with cereals or fruits and vegetables. It is also common to see sheep grazing.

The nearest town is Felanitx, about 8 minutes by car (7 kms),. In it, you can find several supermarkets (Lidl, Eroski, HiperCentro) and several bars and restaurants. Every Sunday morning there is a market in the streets of downtown Felanitx.

The nearest beaches are about 20 minutes away by car, the closest being that of the bay of Portocolom, followed by the beaches of Cala D'or, Portopetro, Cales de Mallorca, the natural park of Mondragó, etc. We recommend “Cala Domingos” and “El Arenal de Portocolom”, although Cala d'Or and Portopetro are also worth a visit.

In short, a comfortable, pleasant house, and with everything you need to enjoy your holidays with family or friends.
